Adaptation of the company’s website to the needs of retail customers and the online store for computer equipment.
Previously, the website was mainly oriented toward dealers and corporate clients.

Main challenge:
A large product database containing thousands of items had fields that were not adapted for an online retail store. Product information appeared as a dry set of technical numbers, understandable only to specialists. Prices changed frequently, and product uploads to the website were automated only.

Solution:
Collaboration with the head of the retail network, marketing specialists, the commercial department, and developers to enable product export from the database to the website with fields formatted “for retail customers.”

My role as a marketer:

  • Created wireframes for product pages with specifications, descriptions, photos, “Buy,” “Compare,” and “Read reviews” buttons.

  • Developed concepts for upselling and cross-selling: accessories, “Frequently bought together,” etc.

  • Designed the structure for the Homepage: promotions, bestsellers, news, and more.

    Our designer created the mockups.
The company’s in-house developers implemented the solution.
